JANUARY 06, 2014 So I'm currently on my first playthrough, I'm about level 45 or so, and I'm investing almost all of my points towards dexterity, which is probably not the greatest choice for a first time player, but hey...I couldn't have known that x). I read that the furysword was the greatest dex weapon in the game, so I created one, however it does less damage than my +10 balder side sword -.-
Quelaag, one of the Witch of Izalith's children, was transformed by the Flames of Chaos into a half-human, half-monster creature, as portrayed in the narrative at the opening of Dark Souls Remastered. Quelaag may be battling you to protect her unconscious sister, but you will be obliged to slay this formidable opponent as part of your Lordran trip. Hello, I'd like to share my two-month construction of this wonderful sword from my all-time favorite game.
It's composed of reclaimed wood, with distortions filled in using wood putty and then painted with a rustic wood stain.
This is what I was referring to and utilizing as a template:
So I began by sketching a template on a couple A4 papers.
That was drawn on wood and then carved out using an electric saw.
Above is a foam mock-up of a cleaned blade, called the middle half of a sword.
I don't have any photographs of the two more layers that sandwiched the blade and were bonded to it, but here is more clean up and a little scaling to show how large it is.

The only issue with the Painting Guardian Sword is acquiring it. This weapon can only be obtained via an enemy drop, which is very uncommon. Unless the player gets really fortunate, obtaining this weapon will require a significant amount of grinding.

Dark Souls Quelaag Schwert
Quelaag's Domain is nearly a welcome respite from the tumult and mayhem of Blighttown. Sure, you have to face a lava-spewing spider woman right away, but at least you aren't continually poisoned. Once Quelaag has been defeated, go to the rear of the chamber and ring the second Bell of Awakening. There are no pick-up items in this area, however there is one campfire. It's just concealed. Head down the steps after ringing the second bell. There is an inoperable elevator and a wall that seems to be a door. Hit the wall to get access to the campfire and the two NPCs in this section. There is also a road leading out of here that goes to the Demon Ruins.

Quelaag may be stunned with the Gargoyle's Halberd or Great Scythe. You must two-hand the weapon and timing your R-1 such that she is immobilized and unable to perform spells. You'll want to charge up to her and assault her human torso. Attacking Quelaag's human body delivers additional damage. Allow your phantoms to assault her incessantly while she is stunned until she dies. As long as you have adequate stamina regen, this is a pretty straightforward way.

If you stay close enough to the rear of the spider's body, it will begin to tremble, releasing a cone-shaped cloud of fire behind it.
When Quelaag leans down and places her hands on the spider, she is preparing for a massive area of effect fire strike, from which you should instantly flee.
