After examining the internet, we discovered that there is no excellent, up-to-date character map. One that we did locate that was nicely put out has not been changed since the start of Season 3. Michael JD built it and titled it A Web of Thrones 2.0. Using it as a foundation, we began working on it to bring it up to date. We included the Martell family, as well as a slew of additional characters. Furthermore, like many Game of Thrones poster maps, it represents Westeros as a continent molded by its great length, where travel plans are largely based on The Kingsroad's far-reaching path. Thus, the problem of really exploring Westeros would most likely come down to understanding where north is. However, it seems that some effort was made to track alleged diversions from The Kingsroad to key spots on the map. Of all, in George R.R. Martin's terrible, violent world, where likability begets a suddenly ending death, directionality would be the least of your concerns on any type of voyage.
