Black Clover Synopsis: When a person reaches the age of 15, they get their Grimoire, an object that allows its user to unleash their power to its greatest potential. Yuno receives a Grimoire with a legendary four-leaf clover, denoting the wielder's tremendous power, while Asta waits in vain for his. Asta, feeling defeated but reluctant to give up, witnesses Yuno being apprehended by a wizard who is attempting to take Yuno's particular Grimoire. Despite being severely outmatched by Yunos' captor, Astas' will to battle on earns him his very own Grimoireone with an unheard-of black five-leaf clover. On the same day, Asta and Yuno were abandoned at the same church. Raised together as youngsters, they learned about the Wizard Kinga title granted to the best wizard in the kingdomand pledged to fight for the post of the future Wizard King. However, as they got older, the dramatic contrast between them became clear. While Yuno can wield magic with incredible force and control, Asta is unable to utilize magic at all and frantically seeks to awaken his talents via physical training.

Nacht then smiles and admits that Asta made the "correct" option in choosing to work as equals with his demon (teasing that Nacht has similar contracts with his own devils), and so swears to begin teaching both Asta and his devil in the future.
