This fantastic film is sure to make you appreciate the person sitting next to you!
Bill Pullman and Ellen Degeneres. Great! Who would have guessed? Unlike some comedies, this one actually made me laugh. Degeneres is just a naturally funny person. And that first shot of Bill Pullman, from his boots to his leather jacket, with his gorgeous face, blue eyes, and thick tousled hair...oh, my heart! This was probably before Ellen came out, but it doesn't matter. Joan Cusak plays Pullman's crazy slapstick ex-girlfriend, and she pulls out all the stops. It goes a little awry when they end up in Mexico, but other than that, it's a fun movie with a good script, good acting, and funny gags. It was fantastic. As previously stated, it begins to lag a little near the end, but don't worry...still it's good. And, to be honest, Bill Pullman was so stunning in this film that I think she's crazy not to seduce him, despite his flaws.
