Kuroo shakes hands with Daichi as the competition versus Karasuno is ready to begin, mocking the captain about his squad being the master of the flying laps. Daichi would attribute his team's success in penalty laps to Kuroo and the others, while clutching Kuroo's hand tightly. Kuroo makes his first move in the game by attempting a straight spike off of Lev's reception. He and Kai then attempt to stop Asahi, but they are unable to stand up to the might of Asahi's spike. Kuroo scores shortly after as Kenma attempts but fails to trick Hinata with a decoy gaze. Kuroo is successful in shutting off Daichi's spike as Karasuno executes the coordinated attack, while Bokuto claims that this was due to sheer chance. Kuroo would then immediately mock Tsukishima about his blocking while admitting that he was just attempting to stir him up[19].
His whole career has been dedicated to bringing this exact component to reality, since he believes that sports help the economy flourish by bringing people together. It turns out that he also plays a critical part in putting Hinata's face out there more, which builds to a major cliffhanger for the conclusion, which has both Hinata and Tobio Kageyama as members of Japan's future volleyball squad for the 2020 Olympics. Although the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic has disrupted and postponed this event in the actual world, Haikyuu is pressing on toward this greatest final objective. However, as the last chapter approaches, the series has made certain that everyone of its characters will have happy endings in the future. With the next episode of the manga, Haikyuu will come to a conclusion, and if it sticks the landing, it will be a major ending for Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine generally.

You keep an eye on him, listening to the remorse oozing from his words. His breathing are unsteady, and you can't tell whether it's because he's chilly or because he's about to weep. And, you know, I murdered him. You look at him in disbelief, your brows furrowed as you struggle to absorb his statement. Eiji's eyes are lifeless, without even a glimmer of vitality. He was picking me up from school the day he died, and I was mortified. I was ashamed of who he was, and I despised it much more that my friends knew who he was.
