A rich man titled Sir Billiam III organized a masquerade party, and visitors included five guests and an unwelcome commoner. Everything looked to be going swimmingly until the lights went out and killings started. This episode takes place in the past, however it is unknown how long ago the masquerade occurred. Due to the vintage of the wine at Sir Billiam's home, it is expected to take place after 1857. Due to the placement of a wanted poster for Technoblade's character Sir Billiam III outside the sheriff's office in the Wild West town and a lore email sent to subscribers by Ranboo on February 16, 2020, it is set at or around the same time as the Wild West episode.
Outside of ghostbur and dream, ranboo was the only one that paid Tommy a visit. Ranboo would write letters to Tommy, but Dream figured it out and began intercepting the correspondence. Ranboo's primary characteristic is that he assists everyone who helps him, regardless of their allegiance. This is why Ranboo has never taken a'side' in any of the conflicts; his character is adamant about standing with people above anything else.

They performed a rendition of "Duck, Duck, Goose." Drew P Weiner was left out of the game owing to Lyaria and Oliver's refusal to interact with a poor individual. Fundy runs for president against Wilbur, and when he fails, he joins forces with Schlatt. In the process, he disowns Wilbur as his father, thereby ending their relationship. He sees Schlatt as a father figure, which rapidly breaks apart. When Schlatt dies, Fundy claims that they had something unique but that Schlatt threw it away. Schlatt insults Fundy in his final words, stating he is not a man. Fundy has a difficult time coping with his father's grief when Wilbur dies and reappears as Ghostbur. Fundy attempted to talk with Ghostbur in order to get closure and a deeper understanding, but Ghostbur totally avoided the discussion and would not allow Fundy to speak. Of course, this makes Fundy extremely angry.
The Battle of the Burned Eiffel Tower
The War of the Burning Eiffel Tower was another minor conflict on the site. This fight began when Sapnap accidentally murdered Tommy's beloved cow Henry. Tommy planned his vengeance, enlisting the help of Dream and Technoblde to attack Sapnap, BadBoyHalo, Skeppy, Punz, and Antfrost. Overall, Tommyâs squad was stronger, and they were victorious in this conflict.

A potted blood vine seed could be seen on a table in the backdrop as Sir Billiam was greeting Lyaria to the estate, suggesting the reason why the guests would kill one other. Nether wart blocks also lined the wall, concealing the Egg, as well as some door frames throughout the house, confirming the existence of the Blood Vines. Sir Billiam was also opposed to the picture, thinking that it foreshadowed the existence of a hidden compartment behind it. Lyaria, Nihachu's character, is extremely similar to the same-named "Dungeons & Dragons" character from the "Streamee D&D" series.
Overall, the Dream SMP has a lengthy history, to say the least. There are likely more tidbits of backstory that were not included that may be viewed on some of the vods associated with whatever streamer was broadcasting a specific event on Twitch or on Youtube.
