Lee Myeongyi has had a pneumothorax, or a collapsed lung, his whole life. He despises the attention he gets at school for his bouts of loud hyperventilating, lengthy coughing spells, and exemption from physical education and military duty. Myeongyi is left feeling like an outsider, whether he is subjected to his peers' curiosity or ire. However, Myeongyi is often shown compassion and understanding by the class president, Han Seonho. With his pleasant gestures and attractive appearance, he becomes Myeongyi's first crush. Myeongyi attends his high school reunion nine years later for one reason: to meet Han Seonho again. He has a flicker of optimism about the other man's affections for him, but that hope is immediately destroyed after seeing the brilliant gold ring on Seonho's left hand and listening to their classmates' probing inquiries. Dietfried Bougainvillea is a gorgeous anime boy from the anime and manga âViolet Evergarden.â He has long black hair, which he wears in a braid. What I enjoy most about his looks are his bright lime-colored eyes. One additional little feature adds to his allure. He has a mole beneath his left eye. Dietfried is the navy's naval captain. As a result, he is self-assured and can be rather self-centered and dictatorial. Nonetheless, he attracts attention. He is gregarious, outgoing, and flirty. Ren returns to Japan after six years only to discover that Haru has forgotten about him. This time, it was Ren's chance to mend fences and become closer to Haru. In terms of steaminess, it just gets better (fujoshis beware) as you go through the series. Also, although it looks that one of the two MCs is the seme and the other is the uke, Haru and Ren are not absolutely constrained by these roles. This keeps the plot moving, relevant, and exciting.
