No one else in the planet is as close to Wanda as her brother Pietro. Though they are sometimes at odds, the brothers have a strong friendship that has carried them through difficult times as youngsters and into their older years as Avengers. Pietro's devotion for his sister might be overpowering at times, but his protectiveness of her is unparalleled, and they remain a powerful team to this day.
Wanda Maximoff is Magnto's daughter and Vif-surjumelle. Argent's Magda, her mother, left Magnto while she was pregnant and sought refuge in Transie. She then abandons her jumeaux. The children are kidnapped by Bova on the mountain of Wundagore, where Chthon, a powerful demon, is imprisoned. Wanda, his other nergie, bestowed to him the ability to sorcellerie later on. The children are then rescued by two gitans, Django and Marya Maximoff. The jumeaux quickly discover their abilities. Marya died in an inferno as a result of an accident caused by Wanda's nascent powers.

Wanda may change reality to varying extremes as a result of her early exposure to mystic energy and powers. Known as a hex in her early years as an Avenger, the Scarlet Witch felt she exploited her power to influence odds for her own gain, although with erratic results. She eventually mastered the talent and came to recognize it as a genuine alteration of reality.
Wanda Maximoff, a native of Sokovia, and her twin brother Pietro escaped an explosion in their apartment building that killed both of their parents. Another rocket touched down but did not detonate. It terrified them for days as they stayed trapped in the wreckage, the lethal contraption in front of them, the name Stark emblazoned on its side.
If Wanda is revived in Avengers 4, her shown ability to smash an Infinity Stone might be decisive in Thanos's defeat. The Mad Titan may possess the Mind Stone, which may affect Vision's final destiny, but there's no evidence that Scarlet Witch's capacity to be an effective opponent against Thanos will be influenced by the stones on his gauntlet.
