Octane, Apex Legends' newest character, is a speed freak of a Legend whose powers revolve entirely on his health to boost his speed. Octane arrived in the game with Apex's first battle pass, which introduced additional cosmetic items to obtain in-game for a fee of about $10. Of course, a new character brings a new set of Octane Legendary skins to hunt for in Apex's loot boxes. Octane is an adrenaline junkie and daredevil, and the costumes you may purchase or unlock for him reflect that. Octane has two Legendary versions that seem like they're from a motocross race, and two more that look like they're from a Japanese samurai movie. There's also a "Wild Frontier" cosmetic that may be obtained for free if players go through Season 1.
Collection events debut some of Apex's coolest skins, which are also the most difficult to get. Though rare skins have a better likelihood of dropping from event loot boxes than epic and legendary skins, it is still a game of chance. Some fan-favorite event cosmetics are returning to the in-game shop, so if you dislike loot boxes, visiting the shop once a day is a good idea. The White Lightning skin was introduced to Apex in June 2020 as part of the Lost Treasures Collection event. While the skin retains Octane's main characteristics, the white tones make him resemble Godspeed from DC Comics.
