When Naruto Uzumaki and his squad saw the golem emerge from underneath Toneri's castle, Naruto used his Nine-Tails Chakra Mode and summoned Kurama outside of his body. Then Kurama and the golem got into a battle. When Toneri was beaten, the golem briefly froze. It was eventually allowed to move again, but only to punch Kurama, which it failed to do and was immediately beaten by Kurama's Tailed Beast Ball, which sent it soaring into space.
