Cap'n Cheese has joined Player and Girlfriend in Girlfriend's attic. They boast about how effortlessly they'll win and refer to Player as a freak. When the player points out that they are standing on top of each other, Cap responds by saying that it makes him taller and hence more handsome. Girlfriend calmly reminds Cap that he is entirely incorrect, but Cap dismisses this as his lack of height. They sing "Haunted Playhouse," and Player is victorious. Cap and Cheese are then slain by a lightning strike. Friday Night Funkin' is strange, according to the player. Week 3 has begun. Player is presently on top of the Newgrounds headquarters building, accompanied by Girlfriend and Veto, who was reportedly recruited by Genty Dearest to assassinate Player. He and Player perform "Secure The Beat," and Player is victorious. Veto, on the other hand, pulls out his revolver and shoots Player, killing him. He then asks Girlfriend on a date, to which she shouts. The episode concludes.
Whoever Spirit once was has undoubtedly met an unlucky and brutal end at the hands of Daddy Dearest. However, there are definitely other things to be concerned about, such as the fact that he plans to take your body if you lose a rap battle against him! 90px Tankman, the driver of the renowned Newgrounds tank, was bored enough to consent to a sing-off in the midst of a battle... Boyfriend doesn't seem to have much of a choice in the matter, given that Girlfriend is being held at gunpoint, so they may as well make the most of it!

Pico is the fiery redhead from the Newgrounds classic Pico's School. Things weren't looking bright for him with a shelved sequel and falling popularity, but now he's back and he knows how to rap!
The twin opponents from the game's second week make their debut appearance in Friday Night Funkin. Skid, the youngster dressed as a skeleton, and Pump, the toddler with a pumpkin on his head, are the opponents. Both of these figures are from the Spooky Month series by animator Sr Pelo. Skid and Pump appeared in this series of Newgrounds animated cartoons celebrating "Eerie Month" in different chaotic ways, like snatching sweets from strangers, conjuring demons, and doing the spooky dance. Skid and Pump's idle animation in Friday Night Funkin features the dance in question.
