When you initially show your overworld map to your players, you may choose to expose or conceal as much as you like. It may be a lot of fun to offer your gamers a "outdated" map and have them discover different modifications that have occurred through time. A bridge may have failed due to years of inactivity or goblin raids. New villages may have sprung up in certain areas, while ancient ones may have been abandoned or destroyed. As a result of having to update things as they go, the map becomes more interactive. When it comes to interaction, we propose letting your players make remarks and doodle on the map. It replicates what their characters may do as they go around the land. When you go from overworld to dungeon map, maybe one of your players will want to draw things down as they go. Give them descriptions that they may use to design their map, and encourage them to take notes and draw pictures.

The Cragmaw Hideout is the first fight map seen while playing through the D&D Starter Pack. It was difficult to obtain a high-quality battle map to download online. As the Dungeon Master while playing D&D with friends via the internet, I prefer having attractive 2D maps to illustrate the battle ground as fighting starts. Instead of utilizing one I didn't really like, I made my own. This is an enhanced version of the game that my buddies and I used to play years ago.
