The Bloxy Awards (formerly known as the ROBLOX Film Festival/Hall of Fame, commonly known as The Bloxys or just Bloxys) are an annual event hosted by Roblox. It seeks to honor its players' artistic, creative, and social qualities. The Bloxys was originally designed for video producers and animators, but it has now been extended to include artists, social media influencers, and game designers. The Roblox community may vote for each category at the end of each year, and five final nominees are chosen at a later date to finish the voting process (for most categories). The results are then broadcast on sites like Twitch and YouTube. The inaugural Bloxys were the 2013 Hall of Fame and the ROBLOX Film Festival, which were displayed during the 2013 BLOXcon. Unlike subsequent editions of the Bloxys, this was the only Bloxys in which the winners were announced at various times and places (except for the Virtual BLOXcon 2013).
