A Viking helmet is among the relics dating back to the 900s. The Gjermundbu helmet is still quite remarkable 71 years after it was discovered. An nearly entire chain mail, three swords, one of which is adorned with silver inlay and was most likely produced in Gotland, three axes, three spearheads, four shield bulges, riding equipment, gaming pieces, and dices were also discovered. One of the buried persons is thought to be a minor ruler from the Ringerike region.
